Don't really know her name except that she is fit. Fit runs the aerobics class under the expressway bridge at dusk. Every day slim hipped Super fit Fit leads the crowd on stage in front of two hundred fat and middle aged women. The rave music blares out at two million decibels from an enormous PA stack behind her. She bobs, rotates and gyrates, and sweats. She wears sweaty lycra shorts and a small top. She has got this stupid microphone strapped to her head, and is continually counting to eight. She is perfect. Every single one of the two hundred fat women is useless, cannot keep up, get every step wrong and lose count. But they come back religiously, in the hope that they can get a figure like Fit. So after the hour long session, she climbs down from the platform, with me glaring up at the sweaty crotch of her black lycra, and I say to her, 'Come back with me for a fuck, you can sweat on my sofa.'
